The Warwickshire Practice works with private clients in introducing ikigai into their lives using CBT, TLT, Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness Welcome to the Warwickshire Practice

Founded on the principles of logotherapy, the Warwickshire Practice supports private clients in the application of Ikigai in their lives.

The key principle of Logotherapy is to have a meaning in your life that is your primary, most powerful, motivating force.

The term ”ikigai” can be similarly described as the reason why you get out of bed in the morning.  A Japanese approach, ikigai is translated as the bliss of always being busy.

We work with you to identify and define your ikigai.

Discovering meaning
You can find a positive life purpose in many areas of your life including your religious beliefs, working within a community or group, dedication to a cause (e.g. charity), and clear goals.  According to neurologist and psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, there are three ways to discover your meaning in life:

  • create a work or do a deed;
  • experience something or encounter someone; and
  • have the right attitude towards unavoidable suffering

We use a variety of tools, methods and approaches as we work with private clients from our office in Warwick – we make use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Time Line Therapy (TLT), Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness, and Performance Coaching.
