The Warwickshire uses counselling psychology to introduce ikigai into your lifeSometimes the best-prepared people can be thrown by what life sends their way.

It’s common sense, but talking about your thoughts and feelings can help you deal with times when you feel troubled: it helps you to shine a light on what’s bothering you and gives you the opportunity to address it.   We often find it helpful to talk problems through with a friend or family member, but sometimes friends and family cannot help us and we need to talk to an experienced third party.

With a focus on your ikigai, our Private Practice uses counselling psychology as we help you to work out how to deal with negative thoughts and feelings and make positive changes.

All of our counsellors have experience in psychology therapies, tools and techniques designed to help you to examine your emotional challenges and the underlying issues.

Counselling Psychology

Our counsellors are trained and certified in a variety of psychology therapies, tools and techniques.

Talking therapies involve talking to someone who is trained to help you deal with your negative feelings. They can help anyone who is experiencing distress. You do not have to be told by a doctor that you have a mental health problem to be offered or benefit from a talking therapy.

What issues can The Warwickshire help with?

Unlike psychiatrists, our counsellors do not prescribe medication.

Our counsellors work across a diverse range of emotional health issues and significant life events including anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, work / career, self-esteem, anger, and self-development.

What’s the process?

The first consultation with one of our counsellors is to discuss your issues and background history, establish the focus of your confidential meetings, and agree how many sessions you would benefit from.

You will then normally meet your counsellor on a weekly basis.

Don’t struggle alone – contact us for an initial and confidential discussion.
